Travel allowances

Regulations beginning with 1 November 2022

We can cover up to 50 percent of the total costs, but no more than 500€ for travelling inside Europe and 800€ for international travel outside Europe, for each Doctoral Candidates per budget year, independently of the number of applications (according to the current regulations of the Research Academy Leipzig).
Prerequisite is as always the active participation (with talk or poster) in academic conferences, workshops, training schools or research stays abroad.
Please note that the application form for travel grants signed by your supervisor has to be submitted at least 4 weeks before the trip starts and will be discussed in the upcoming meeting of the Board (see "internal DC" section for the upcoming meetings).
The applications for travel allowances will be assessed by the BuildMoNa Board and the decision concerning the approval will be communicated to you after the respective Board meeting.
